Although technically a city, Flower Mound styles itself as a town with a small-town feel that has made it irresistible to homebuyers looking for an ideal place to settle down.

It also boasts 3.5 miles of equestrian trails, 21 baseball/softball fields, and the same number of public tennis courts, and 14 soccer fields.

Its two golf courses, Bridlewood and Tour 18, are challenging as well as beautiful. Bridlewood measures 7,000 yards from the back tees and offers unbeatable views of lakes and rolling hills. Tour 18, dubbed “America’s Greatest Eighteen Holes,” has put Flower Mound on the golfing map. Featuring replicas of holes from 16 top courses, it includes three closing holes that those who’ve seen the Augusta National’s “Amen Corner” will immediately recognize.
